Nestled at the vibrant corner of Queen St E and Carlaw Ave, Maha's Cafe is more than just a coffee shop; it's a delightful experience waiting to unfold. This quaint cafe in Toronto has quickly become a local favorite with its charming atmosphere, friendly service, and a menu that’s a celebration of flavors.

As you step inside, you’re welcomed by a cozy space bathed in natural light, accented by thoughtful decor elements that create a warm and inviting environment. What’s truly special about Maha’s is its dual identity—as a cafe and a boutique, adding a unique twist to your visit. While finding the entrance through a stylish clothing store may be unexpected, it adds to the sense of adventure and discovery.

The real star of the show at Maha's is undoubtedly the food and drinks. Customers rave about their delicious offerings, which range from specialty coffees to mouthwatering bites. The Honey Cardamom latte, served both hot or iced, is a standout choice; its floral notes blend beautifully with creamy undertones, delivering a comforting sip with every taste. And let’s not forget the must-try Egyptian Falafel, featuring soft-boiled eggs enveloped in crispy falafel—a dish that’s as inventive as it is delectable.

If you have a sweet tooth, there’s no shortage of pastries to tempt you, and the reviews speak volumes about the treats available. One customer, Elizabeth Lee, shares how delightful the pastries were while praising the generous staff who even treated her to extras! The commitment to exceptional service is evident; many patrons, like glenda ahumada torres, express gratitude for the attentive service provided by the wonderful team, including Valentina and Rodrigo. Whether you're there for a brisk breakfast or a leisurely coffee date, you’re guaranteed to be treated like family.

Although the cafe has limited seating, it perfectly contributes to the cozy and intimate vibe that patrons adore. It’s a charming spot where you can savor your drink in tranquil surroundings. The recommendation to dine in is echoed by Liane Vaz, who highlights the allure of the cute porcelain cups and the little details in the decor, making every sip feel special.

Whether you’re a local looking to relax or a traveler seeking the best of Toronto’s cafe culture, Maha’s Cafe is a must-visit. With its creative menu, friendly atmosphere, and dedication to quality, you’re bound to leave with a smile and a longing to return. So, what are you waiting for? Make your way to Maha’s, where great food, exquisite drinks, and heartfelt service await.

I love Mahas Cafe! Whenever I go on vacation to Toronto, I always make time to visit it. I love their food, hot and cold drinks, and the excellent service that the staff always provides. Many thanks to Valentina and Rodrigo for their outstanding service. I highly recommend the hot chocolate and the always fresh hummus—it's a must-try. Without a doubt, I'll be back! :)

If you’re entering from Greenwood the entrance is a clothing store, but you walk in and to the back to get to the cafe. Great atmosphere, super tasty food. The service was courteous and friendly. My group all got different drinks and food, all were tasty. They had run out of some items that my friend wanted but our waiter was super attentive and was doing their best to suggest alternatives. I got the Mona Lisa (drink) with decaf espresso, the waiter warned me that the latte art is not as crisp with decaf but it still looked good! I also got the Egyptian beet salad. It didn’t fill me up as it was meant to be a snack but it was very refreshing and delicious. Would recommend and go again!

Love the flavours for their speciality lattes, and the variety of sweet and savoury food. I also love the little details in the decor around the space, which I didn’t notice the first few times I was here. Very much recommend dining in so you can enjoy their cute porcelain cups and saucers.

In all honesty, despite literally everybody I know having been to Maha's on Greenwood, I never went. I simply am not interested in standing in line for food, no matter how great it may be. So, when I saw this place opened, I figured it was worth a shot one day. Even other locals hadn't heard that Maha's had opened a sister location, mostly because from Queen, you have to walk through a (very cool) clothing shop to find it. There is a sidewalk sign out front, but if you're not careful you may miss it. It was... well, if the OG location is like this, I can understand the queue. It was absolutely delicious. Every single thing I tried was delectable. From the coffee, to the eggs, to the pastries, EVERYTHING. I normally don't like flavoured drinks, but their special Honey Cardamom Latte was very good. The space is really cosy too with plenty of seating indoors and on a somewhat hidden patio at the back. The décor is cute, comfy, bright, and a bit vintage. Honestly, it's an awesome time. I'm so glad they opened this spot.

We drove half an hour to try Maha’s after seeing a glowing review online and it was well worth it! Every plate we tried was absolutely delicious, and the mocha latte and the cardamom latte were also standouts! We even ordered extra falafel and dessert to take home. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the high quality of the food. I do wish the alternative milks for the lattes weren’t an additional dollar for those of us that are lactose intolerant. But that’s a very small note, besides that everything was perfect! Huge recommend if you’re in the area (or even if you aren’t the trek is well worth it)!

One of my favourite cafes in Toronto, love the atmosphere with all that natural light and the cozy decor. Conveniently they have a selection of sweets, sandwiches, and other ready made grab-and-go items. The Egyptian Falafel (soft boiled eggs surrounded by crispy falafel) is a must in my opinion. I adore the Honey Cardamom latte (available both iced or hot), and if you're dining in I recommend ordering the Cairo Classic. A smaller version of the one you’d get at the restaurant, this Egyptian Breakfast is centered around Foole – flavourful, slow cooked fava beans and served with a side of falafel, pita, salad, and tomato feta. I'm not usually one to order a Grilled Cheese, but theirs is so good. Made with a blend of Gouda, Havarti, and Swiss cheese, this sandwich is also filled with the sweetest dates and is drizzled with honey.
